How to Install basex software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

basex software package provides XML database and XPath/XQuery processor, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install basex 

basex is installed in your system.

Make ensure the basex package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep basex *

You will get with basex package name, version, architecture and description in a table
